Soulbase
I'm looking for film title sequences and film festival intro's for inspiration in our next project. I found via the GDS Delicious links a site titled "Forget the Film, Watch the Titles". If that doesn't sound perfect, I don't know what does. So, I get there and see an interesting image:
I wasn't really too certain what I was going to see. I thought it might be a title sequence for the new Batman movie that is due out this summer. I clicked it and was intrigued as it was narrated by someone who was telling my life's story. It was a story of being up against a wall with no inspiration or ideas, aka "The Block". Who was this guy? The film was very interesting and extremely well done. I wanted more. I'm inspired. I search to find the author of this amazing piece that was apparently shown at a recent Amsterdam design and technology event FITC 2012. I think that this one is the actual opening titles that were played for the FITC 2012 event. This is an amazing animation experience as well. These are very talented creators. Soulbase is the name of the design company based in the Netherlands. Wow! It would be great to be this good one day.
